Be Godfident, and Practice More Godfidence

"No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us." Romans 8:27

Being “Godfident” means one believes in the word of God, every word, and they believe it with all their heart. A Godfident person believes that God loves them unconditionally, and He’s already provided everything they will ever need IN Christ.

"For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him, the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God." 2 Corinthians 1:20

Having “Godfidence” is believing salvation has come through Jesus alone, it came as a free gift of GRACE from God, WHILE simultaneously losing all faith in one’s own ability to EARN salvation.Godfident people expect to receive what God has promised, they really do. They believe more in the supernatural than they do their own 5 natural senses.

"Therefore, since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God." 2 Corinthians 7:1

Godfident people are so confident in God and not in themselves, they position themselves to RECEIVE everything that God has promised. Since they believe every word of God, they learn everything they can about every promise of God.

"Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need." Hebrews 4:16

Godfident people expect to receive what God has promised, they really do. They believe more in the supernatural than they do their own 5 natural senses.

"For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline" 2 Timothy 1:7

Being “Godfident” means one believes in the word of God, every word, and they believe it with all their heart. A Godfident person believes that God loves them unconditionally, and He’s already provided everything they will ever need IN Christ.Godfident people search and study the Word of God constantly because they BELIEVE every word of the Bible. They have Godfidence in God’s ability to fulfill every promise in His Word! So, they eagerly search the Scriptures. People with Godfidence know the word of God.

"I can do all this through him who gives me strength." Philippians 4:13

Godfident people believe God will come through for them every time, without fail. Godfident people even believe God wants to lavish His love upon them, all the time, and without limits! Can you believe it?

"Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see." Hebrews 11:1

“Godfidence” is the act of placing one’s total life in hands of God and trusting the finished work of Jesus Christ, ALL THE WHILE simultaneously placing NO FAITH in one’s self.

"Jesus called out with a loud voice, “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit.” When he had said this, he breathed his last." Luke 23:46

Being “Godfident” and having “Godfidence” is knowing that God loves us more than we can ever think or imagine and that His love is radical, it’s unlimited, and It's 100% FREE.

"For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ. But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us." 2 Corinthians 4:6-7

Godfidence means we’ve placed all of our hope in Christ, now and forever. Being Godfident means God is our only source for everything, and we’ve placed ALL of our hope in Him, because of what Jesus did for ALL OF US through the cross and resurrection!Having “Godfidence” is believing salvation has come through Jesus alone, it came as a free gift of GRACE from God, WHILE simultaneously losing all faith in one’s own ability to EARN salvation.

"And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:19

Yes, God’s love is FOR US, and HE LOVES US, and it’s unlimited and FREE... God’s love is without limits and it’s beyond our imagination.

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." Matthew 11:28

Because of Jesus, the spotless lamb of God, AND His redemptive work on the cross, the Atonement, we ALL can be saved. We must also BELIEVE that we are saved.

"If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Romans 10:9

What does that mean exactly? What’s it mean to be saved? It means that God is not mad at us, just the opposite. It means that God loves us so much He sent His son as an offering to take our place so that we would be made righteous in His sight.

"In Him, we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our wrongdoings, according to the riches of His grace which He lavished on us in all wisdom and insight." Ephesians 1:7-8

God wants nothing FROM US and wants everything FOR US. God wants to give us all things… all of it! And, we don’t have to do anything to get God’s love. We don't have to do anything to earn it.

"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." Ephesians 2:8-10

We are to simply RECEIVE it! He did it all. As a matter of fact, once we attempt to earn God's Grace, we lose it. God's love is perfect, it's enough, and He left nothing out. As we confess our faith in Jesus, we RECEIVE salvation. We receive what God has already provided through Jesus. And, it's just like God to do it this way. It's His nature to lavish us with love. When we least deserved it, He gave us everything. It's called MERCY!

"But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8

Once we try to add "performance" to the requirement for salvation, we "fall" from Grace, albeit until we repent. We fall from Grace because we offend Grace. Jesus plus nothing is EVERYTHING. Jesus plus anything is NOTHING.

"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified. What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?" Romans 8:28-31Godfident people are so confident in God and not in themselves, they position themselves to RECEIVE everything that God has promised. Since they believe every word of God, they learn everything they can about every promise of God.

Godfidence: Being Godfident means we believe God’s word, every word, and we believe that He wants to lavish His love upon us without limits. Have you ever noticed that things we do FOR God never seem to be as good as the things we do WITH God or the things God does FOR US?

"having been filled with the fruit of righteousness which comes through Jesus Christ, for the glory and praise of God." Philippians 1:11

Being Godfident means we place all of our faith in God. We expect God to be true to His Word, and His word says that Jesus did it all for us.

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him." John 3:16-17
